Fishing Report at 1st June 2014

Right now we are in the thick of Mayfly hatches, with good fishing on lakes and simply awesome river fishing. We’ve hosted several groups in recent weeks with everyone having a great time, as demonstrated by Gino (pictured) looking rightfully delighted with a 5lb 10oz rainbow trout. Our 1-2-1 clients are enjoying the same fabulous fly fishing, while others are fine tuning skills prior to a forth coming fishing holiday.

We’ve added a new introductory course date for June 21st due to demand. Settled evenings are producing good spinner fall now, with large numbers of sherry spinners and mayfly tempting trout to the surface as they lay the next generation. A sight any dry fly enthusiast loves to see. Contact us for further details on evening lessons available between June and August.
