With water at a nice stable height, crystal clear, cool and loaded with food, the trout are happy and so are our fly fishers! Clients are experiencing good catches and some quality fish on the river right now, with both nymph and dry fly proving successful. The key is in knowing when and where to deploy particular tactics and flies. Midges, caddis, olives and terrestrials are providing great surface sport, while their larva  do the business subsurface, with addition of shrimps.
On the lakes, fishing is relatively good for the time of year and following the pattern of our previous fishing report you can see here.
One the river front, the season end October 8th and fishing is only going to get more awesome until then. Get in touch to discuss your trip today!
