Fishing Report January 2014

As predicted in Decembers report here, January was more of the same. More of the same weather, more great fly fishing for those willing to venture out, more trout caught on streamers, nymphs and stalking bugs as water clarity held up very well, despite the volumes of water falling. Not much more to say about January than that, so I won’t.

Looking forward to Spring, don’t we all around now? We are set for another year of good water levels on the lakes and rivers. With that will be some quality fly fishing. If I close my eyes, I can see a fish eating my dry fly off the surface. Bring it on!
