Our river fly fishing has been and continues to be good, even during the multiple spells of extremely warm weather. The water is cool and trout are readily taking nymphs, wets and dry flies. With water low and clear sight fishing is superb. The key is travel slow and quiet, fishing small flies on fine leaders and light gear. Join us riverside here.
Lake fishing has predictably slowed with increasing temperatures, so while fishing is more challenging, conditions are very pleasant and conducive to learning. It’s a great time of year to learn new skills, polish up old ones, in order to make the most of improving lake conditions come autumn time. See our casting and fishing lessons from beginner to advanced here.
