Fishing Report November 2023

Fishing Reports

A great first trout of 6lbs.

November provided our clients with many quality fly fishing opportunities while they enjoyed lessons with us at Loynton Lakes. Trout have been feeding actively, with buzzers, bloodworm and small lures providing success throughout the month. Many newcomers to fly fishing have taken their first casts and hooked their first fish on fly. Seasoned fly fishers also joined us to further their skills.

During winter lake fishing is often very productive. Water conditions are better for the fish and therefore fishing, though weather is less clement for anglers. That’s the beauty of using Loynton Trout Fishery as a venue. It’s a stunning location, the fish are of high quality and when you need a warm, there is the Tickled Trout over looking the lakes where you can cuddle a roaring log burner and enjoy good food and drink. Restored, you can head back to the water ready for action again. Book a day for you or a small group here.
