March 2025 Fly Fishing Report

As enthusiastic a bunch of people as ever joined us during March and early April for tuition at Loynton Trout Fisheries. Fishing wise, trout have responded well to lure and nymph tactics at the venue, with dries starting to take fish more consistently late March and into April as temperatures jumped up. Once again our beginners courses are proving highly popular.

We start our river trout season mid April when we once more share the Peak District rivers with anglers looking to get the best from the time they have available. Find further details of our guided fly fishing here.
