Mid Winter Fishing Report

Many winter days exhibit mild, pleasant conditions to be outdoors now. It’s no coincidence that these same days make good fishing days too!🙂 Add to this the active nature of fly fishing and there is much to be said for getting outdoors and exploring with the fly rod right now. We are currently working with several people doing just that. From beginners keen to get a good start, to experienced anglers preparing for the year ahead and/or a special trip.

From a trout fishing perspective, lakes are really productive to nymph and streamer techniques. Often with fish active high in the water and providing some exciting opportunities. For additional ideas, checkout these two seasonal features: –
